Thank you to everyone who helped make
2008 Dog Day Afternoon fundraiser a grand success!
Special thanks to Victoria Michael, Jinx Whitaker, and all the staff at New Horizons Gallery for once again hosting this event. Victoria led the way by acquiring donations, creating and sending out publicity, organizing the event at the gallery. Also thanks to our volunteers, Bobbi Jo Katchmar, Linda Robertson, Christine Storey and Peggy Beagle for their help during the event.
Funds raised will purchase insurance, as required by FNSB, support of this website, other administrative expenses and some construction at the dog park. During the next year or two, the dog park will need fenced play areas. This will cost thousands of dollars.

We are a local 501(c)3 nonprofit organization who want to see a safe, fenced Dog Park built in
Fairbanks, and are willing to do the work to make it happen. We are raising
money to construct a new Dog Park on twenty acres of raw land set aside in South Davis Park for that purpose.
